Tips for settling in

• Put your T-shirt or blouse in the hammock together with your baby. That way your scent is with them and creates a familiar environment.
• Make sure your baby is fed and really tired when you put them in.
• Place your hand on your baby in the baby hammock. Speak softly and soothingly or sing a lullaby. That way your baby knows you are there.
• Before you use the motor for rocking, first do it gently by hand. That way you can adapt the movements exactly to your baby's needs.
• If your baby becomes restless or fussy, take them out, soothe them the way you are used to, and try again later or the next day.
