The HyFive City R129 by Nachfolger is the ultra-lightweight travel companion: folded, it fits into any travel bag; inflated, it turns into a full-fledged, certified rear-facing car seat (a child car seat where your child travels facing backwards – against the direction of travel). Whether in a rental car, taxi, plane or on a train journey – at just 4.6 kg, you save a lot of travel luggage compared to classic car seats.

Like all loopi products, you rent the HyFive City flexibly on subscription – with no major upfront cost, but with the assurance that your child always travels in an up-to-date, certified seat.

FAQ

Is the HyFive City suitable for air travel?

Yes, the HyFive City is certified to UN ECE R129/04 and approved for use on aircraft (approval applies to take-off and landing). It can also be used on buses and trains with the lap belt. Note: the crew on board always has the final say during the flight – if use is prohibited at short notice, simply stow it under the seat in front and use it once cruising altitude is reached (in coordination with the crew).

Do I need an Isofix base?

No, the HyFive City is secured exclusively via the top tether and the 2- or 3-point vehicle belt – no additional base is needed. Important: if the seat is installed on the front passenger seat, the front airbag must be deactivated.

Is the cover washable?

Yes, the cover is removable and machine washable at 30°C.
